Frequently asked questions
- What is a credit?
- A credit is worth one euro cent. It covers an action that consumes an external API: finding a mobile or an email, sourcing a profile, running an AI analysis (quick or in-depth). The table above lists everything that consumes credits, with no exception.
- What does the monthly quota include?
- Every month your subscription tops your account up with the number of credits shown on your plan. You spend them on whatever you want, at the rates in the table. This mechanism is part of what will open together with subscriptions.
- Is there any lock-in?
- The monthly plan has none: you stop whenever you decide. The annual plan is a prepayment, which is what funds the discount; there is no committed monthly direct debit.
- Why is the annual plan cheaper?
- Because it is paid in one go. What is rewarded is the prepayment, not the length of a commitment, and both plans grant exactly the same monthly quota.
- What does a mobile or an email cost?
- Exact rates are in the table above, and they are the ones the product actually charges: an automated test makes sure this page and the product cannot drift apart.
- Do my credits expire?
- Unused monthly quota rolls over for three months. Credits bought as top-ups stay valid for twelve months. Nothing expires at the end of the month.
- What if we are several?
- One seat is included in each plan. Extra seats are added at the rate shown on your plan card, and they share the same credit pool.
- How does the trial work?
- When your account opens you get free credits, with no credit card and no expiry. You test on your own real prospects before deciding anything.
- How is this different from a CRM?
- Apex Machina handles the pre-deal stage: targeting, enrichment, call sessions, first touch. A CRM handles the post-deal stage: pipeline, deals, contracts. Apex Machina feeds your CRM through export, it does not replace it. That is what we call an ORM.
- Does Apex Machina place the calls for me?
- No. You call from your phone or softphone, in one click from the card. Apex Machina prepares the queue, shows the context during the call, records the outcome and suggests the follow-up.
- What about GDPR?
- The data processed is professional, sources are traced, and notice to individuals as well as opt-out are built into the product. Hosting is in the European Union.
